Singalong with Kate Long and JC3 friends to traditional favorites. A cappella singing, without instruments, is a rich, deep part of Appalachian mountain music. West Virginia native Kate Long will give us a beautiful taste of traditional tunes that have passed down through generations as well as a few of her own “songs that sound old.”

Kate Long is a North American songwriter and storyteller who writes “songs that sound old.” A much-loved performer at traditional music festivals in the Appalachian mountains, she is visiting San Miguel de Allende to study clay sculpture. Her songs have been recorded by many vocalists and have won national awards, including the International Bluegrass Music Association “Song of the Year.”
