Judith Jenya, will be showing the award-winning documentary “Memories Do Not Burn” available only by special showing. She will discuss the needs of children in wars now.
Rabbi Stephen Carr Reuben writes about Judith Jenya’s book Memories Do Not Burn: Bringing Hope and Resilience to Children of War.

She recounts the fascinating stories of what it took to start, fund, and organize Global Children’s organization and create summer camps bringing together children from opposing sides during the war in a country she had only visited once.Judith shares her joys and triumphs as well as some of the many obstacles and roadblocks, both literal and metaphoric, she worked through.“
Judith writes about her experiences with orphans in Russia, and founding and directing summer camps for children of war in Bosnia, Croatia, Northern Ireland, and elsewhere. is a painter, peace activist, and works with non-profits in San Miguel de Allende, where she has lived since 2006.
