Relational Training

  • JC3/Chesma 47 Calle De Las Moras San Miguel de Allende, Gto., 37700 Mexico (map)

We are living in a time of profound shifts in the ways we live and communicate. While technology has provided great benefits, the internet and social media have contributed to disconnection.

Improvement in communication and other interpersonal skills can restore connection and improve relationships in every aspect of life: personal, work, and community. Relational Training (RT) is a form of experiential learning designed to help people interact more authentically and effectively. Participants improve their interpersonal skills and attitudes by learning to give and receive high-quality feedback on verbal and non-verbal communication.

The session will be led by the Toronto-based developer of RT, Solomon Shapiro, a retired psychiatrist who specialized in psychotherapy, now working as a coach and group facilitator. With 35 years of experience working with groups, his facilitation accelerates individual and group learning. He provides actionable observations and reflections about what interpersonal communication is working well and what can be improved, and offers powerful relational strategies.

Participants can expect to be – and feel – challenged, but most will also experience a sense of connection and joy. Participants of RT report renewed optimism, increased sense of belonging, and new ways of thinking and acting.

Join us for an exploration of authenticity and connection.
