This year we will be conducting a special observance of Tisha B’Av, a holiday of fasting, reflection and mourning that commemorates historical tragedies, including the destruction of the ancient Temples in Jerusalem.

We will begin with the evening service, Arvit at 7:15 p.m.

The beautiful service marking the conclusion of Shabbat and the beginning of our “work week’, Havdalah begins at 8 p.m.

After Havdalah, we will hold a trilingual reading of Lamentations, in English, Spanish, and Hebrew—offering a meditative experience on loss and resilience.

On August 3: We will screen “October 8th,” a powerful documentary exploring the aftermath of the October 7th attacks through the lens of those who experienced it directly. The film invites thoughtful reflection on trauma, empathy, and how communities respond in the wake of violence.
