This is the story of one of the  first celebrity chef, Antonin Careme, creating the French age of gastronomy.  French chefs had to leave the aristocrats kitchens and make way for the
very first Restaurants. These new Restaurer…as they were called.  Would never have succeeded if there had not been a curiosity and a need for such establishment. After the French revolution, a new privilege class was born. Paris was flushed with money from Napoleon’s conquests and Paris began establish itself as the gourmet capital of Europe.
