Israel-Palestine: Oct. 7: How Did it Happen and where Do We Go from Here?

Jon Allen is the former Canadian ambassador to Israel, Spain and Andorra. He is a current Senior Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University ofToronto, and the Chair of Rozana Canada, a not for profit whose objective is to build bridges between Palestinians and Israelis via the health sector. He will discuss the immediate antecedents to Oct. 7 starting with the election of the Netanyahu coalition government on Nov. 22, move on to Oct. 7, and how and why it happened, and then offer some solutions going forward.
