Lebanese Cuisine - Beyond Hummus. ****LIMITED TO 7 PEOPLE***

  • JC3/Chesma 47 Calle De Las Moras San Miguel de Allende, Gto., 37700 Mexico (map)

lebanese Cuisine - Beyond Hummus, Lebanese cooking taught by BC Gee

Lebanese cuisine combines Turkish, Arab and French cooking styles and includes an abundance of whole grains,                   fruits, vegetables, fish and seafood. Important components are copious amounts of garlic and olive oil, and dishes                         are often seasoned with salt and lemon juice.

Most of us are familiar with the traditional mezze menu: Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Tabouleh and Fattoush. In this                   class, we will explore Mid-Eastern cuisine beyond the basic mezze.  The class will be 2-1/2 hours which will include                   introduction to the class topic and review of recipes.  Class will then prepare and cook 3 dishes: Shorbat Adas bil                   Hamod (Lentil Soup with Greens), Balilah (Warm Chickpeas with Lemon and Olive Oil), Farro Salad with Smoked                       Trout and Kale (served with flatbread), all to be shared as a group meal at the end of the class.

Please bring an apron and at least one knife you are comfortable using to the class session.

Please in the payment concept write the name of the class and your name/names
