A discussion group founded by Ed Wohlrab with Arturo Kalfus is meeting these days in the comfort of the JC3 air-conditioned space. Each Tuesday a volunteer facilitator introduces a thought-provoking topic with the intention of generating respectful and illuminating conversation. Join us over cookies, coffee or tea to meet and connect with neighbors and friends. We do ask that participants avoid political topics. To date topics of discussion have included philosophical and sociological discussions of happiness, courage and giving back to our communities.
This week’s discussion on Finding Meaning in the Second Half of Life will be facilitated by Arturo Kalfus.
Arturo asks you to consider the following:
.Finding Meaning in the Second Half of Life
This is the title of a book that changed my life. Author James Hollis,a Jungian Psychoanalyst, describes the changes we need to have in the second half of life to achieve a life of meaning. He explores the ways we can grow and evolve to fully be a 'grown up'. I will share some quotes from this amazing book to encourage a lively discussion among us.
