Play Reading Harold Pinter's ‘The Dumb Waiter'

Join us for a special staged reading of Harold Pinter’s acclaimed one-act play The Dumbwaiter, presented by JC3/CHESMA in San Miguel de Allende. This gripping, darkly comic exploration of tension, power, and absurdity will be performed by two accomplished actors: Fil Formicola and Alan Jacobson.

🎤 Fil Formicola is well known to San Miguel audiences for his commanding stage presence and rich baritone voice. Before relocating to Mexico, he built a distinguished career in the U.S. as a SAG-AFTRA and Actor’s Equity performer, appearing in numerous theatrical and musical productions, and guest-starring on several popular American television series.

🎭 Alan Jacobson returns to the stage for the first time since 1998, making his San Miguel acting debut. A New York-based Actor’s Equity and SAG member, Alan has performed Off-Broadway, on national tours, in regional theatres, and in U.S. soap operas. As the Founding Producing Artistic Director of The Plaza Theatre in Palm Beach, he produced over 50 professional shows and created the international hit Waist Watchers The Musical!, which toured the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
