With Odilon Redon we enter the world of symbolism, a movement which reacted against realism and materialism, a movement which touched the visual arts, poetry, literature and music.

His life and work can be divided into two distinctive periods:
The Black Period, “Les Noires,”
The Color Journey.
He re-interpreted myths, history, literary characters, and created a fairy tale like atmosphere which will no doubt seduce you.
